"Who is behind all this?" The founder and
Global Coordinator is Australian radio presenter, singer, activist,
"PRODOS," (pictured above.) The non-profit PRODOS Institute Inc has been set up for the advancement
of global freedom, invention, and prosperity. The emphasis is on
inclusive, positive, educational, grassroots/community events, workshops,
etc.
"Is this a counter protest
- against the anti-capitalists?" The Celebrate Capitalism™
campaign is a positive day of promotion, discussion, and
festivities - NOT a counter protest.
We'll leave the negativity and
nihilism to the anti capitalists. We not only uphold the Producers and
Creators of the world, we seek to emulate their constructive, positive
spirit.
We proudly uphold: Free trade, globalization, liberty,
profit, free speech, technology, universal individual rights, intellectual
and material prosperity, private property, rule of law, innovation,
creativity, human dignity and happiness.
"What's happened in previous
years?" Since the first International Capitalism
Day in 2001, nearly 200 cities in 46 countries around the world have
participated in this unique worldwide campaign. Activities have included
the WALK to Celebrate Capitalism™ (Also known as Walk FOR
Capitalism™), sporting events, concerts, street parties, conferences,
and many other festivities.
Thousands of individuals, families, and
groups from every walk of life, from every corner of the globe stood up
proudly for worldwide freedom and prosperity.
Through hundreds of
media outlets our peaceful and positive message reached millions. To read
the reports on past years' activities visit the Celebrate Capitalism™
Global Worklist archives. Click here
"What is Capitalism Day?" The first Sunday of
JUNE each year, is "International Capitalism
Day."
On this day, around the globe, we thank the
Producers and Creators - humankind's great benefactors. We extend a hand
of friendship and support, praise their achievements, independence of
thought, and their courage in following their dreams. And uphold the only
political system which makes all this possible.
Capitalism Award™ In every participating city,
the Capitalism Award™ was presented to a defender or fine example of
Capitalist ideals. To nominate an individual in your city click
here
The Capitalism Award™ is presented to the individual in
each participating city who has done most to defend and promote freedom
and prosperity and/or who by their actions most gloriously embodies the
spirit and principles of Capitalism.
Nominations for the Capitalism
Award™ may come from business, science, art, education, politics,
invention, or any other field of creative, productive, human endeavour.
The Award is presented on "Capitalism Day" - the first Sunday of JUNE each
year.
Capitalism &
Human Creativity! Capitalism is not fundamentally
about money - it's about freedom and human creativity. Intellectual and
material wealth are consequences.
Please support free trade,
globalization, profit, free speech, technology, private property,
individual rights, rule of law, innovation, human dignity and
happiness!

Are you ready to Walk the
Talk? Yes! Show that you are a
positive defender of individual rights, free trade, intellectual and
economic liberty. Show that you are opposed to the thug-like ideas and
actions of anti-capitalists like M1 and S11.
Their smearing graffiti,
chanting slogans, use of violence and intimidation are no substitute for
REASON. They have no place in a civilised society.
It's time to
stand up for freedom and prosperity. Now! Human creativity and invention,
business, profit, production, free trade - both local and global -
desperately need your support. Now, more than ever.
Whether you are
a poet or a labourer, an entrepreneur or a charity worker, a teacher or a
soldier, a scientist or a doctor - declare your support for Capitalism on
International Capitalism Day - the 1st Sunday of June each year.
Join our symbolic rally and festivities in your city.
Declare that
only you and you alone own your life. Not the government, not
"society". You know it's true. Now let's walk the talk!
